Insurance and payment
We are in-network with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois PPO and Blue Choice networks, and we accept private and out-of-pocket payment. Some Blue Cross Blue Shield mental health plans are administered by a third party, in which case we may be out-of-network – your plan can confirm which applies to you. Dr. Flom additionally accepts UnitedHealthcare PPO and United Health Student Services plans.
Cancellations and rescheduling
When you make an appointment, that time is reserved for you and your clinician. A cancellation or reschedule less than 24 hours in advance is charged the full rate of the visit, and no-shows are charged the full rate as well. If you arrive late, there may not be enough time to complete a thorough treatment plan, and your clinician may ask for an additional follow-up visit.
